Storrington

Location

Sanctuary Lane is in the area known as Heath Common, a network of little lanes winding between Rock Road and Washington Road, containing interesting properties of differing age & design in semi-wooded surroundings. The friendly village of Storrington is at the foot of the South Downs, in beautiful Sussex countryside with wonderful walks on the South Downs National Park and National Trust heath & woodland nearby at St Georges Warren. Storrington village is about 1½ miles to the west, with local shops and traders providing good everyday shopping. A Waitrose store & John Lewis Collection Point is in Old Mill Square, as well as a Costa coffee shop. There is also a 6am-10pm Tesco Express & petrol station. Larger Tesco and Sainsbury's stores are in neighbouring Pulborough. The village also has a Post Office, library, health centre, banks, deli, restaurants, coffee shops and good  community amenities. Leisure activities include golf, mountain-biking on the Downs; gliding at Parham; and Chanctonbury Leisure Centre/Gym (swimming at Steyning). There is sailing from Chichester & Littlehampton harbours; with horseracing and the renowned Festival of Speed & Revival motorsport events at glorious Goodwood. Further afield, Brighton, Chichester & Horsham have the top High Street shopping names and host theatre productions; plus a variety of cultural events and exhibitions.

Hurworth

This wide, individual single-storey home is pleasantly positioned as Sanctuary Lane starts to rise towards its crest and enjoys a south aspect at the rear. Originating from the 1990's, virtually all traces of the period have been updated to create a light, contemporary home with a calm, designer air. Most windows feature wide slat, taped blinds that give a New England feel. The bright and excellent Wren kitchen is the latest improvement in a long list of improvements in our clients' ownership. The versatile room layout will suit a variety of buyers' needs - the owners use the 4th bedroom as an ideal home office/study, still leaving 3 other good size bedrooms; the main bedroom having its own en-suite full bathroom.
