Meadowside
Storrington

Location

The popular West Sussex village set against the stunning backdrop of the South Downs National Park. The lively centre has everything for day-to-day needs; with traditional local shops, Post Office, Library, banks and restaurants/take aways  Pre-school facilities are nearby and Storrington First School is within walking distance.  The Glebe Health Centre and community amenities are accessible and Storrington has a Waitrose store (John Lewis Collection Point) and Costa in Old Mill Square. A 6am-10pm opening Tesco Express & petrol station is handy in Pulborough Road.  This part of Meadowside is adjacent to an attractive area of amenity woodland and there are footpaths through to the High Street.  Chanctonbury Leisure Centre Gym and playing fields are accessible (swimming at Steyning & Billingshurst). Other activities include golf, gliding at Parham, tennis & squash clubs. Glorious Goodwood is known for horse racing as well as the Festival of Speed & Revival motorsport events.  There is sailing on the south coast from Chichester and Littlehampton harbours.  Horsham, Chichester and Brighton have the big name shops, in addition to a variety of theatre, cultural & entertainment events.

The property

This extended semi-detached house probably originates from the early 1950's and effectively only has a neighbouring property on one side. The plot is an attractive feature, with extra space at the side for car parking, an extension (subject to consents), or just additional garden. Featuring good room sizes, the house has two double bedrooms and a later rear extension has added a big extra family/dining room downstairs. With a recently replaced Worcester gas boiler, the house also has double glazing. The interior is now rather dated, providing a great opportunity for a buyer to update and change to their own requirements. There is no forward chain.
