Sanctuary Court
Church Street, Wiggonholt

The hamlet of Wiggonholt lies amidst wonderful woodland and countryside between Storrington & Pulborough, bordered by Pulborough Brooks (RSPB); and within the South Downs National Park.  Served by Church Lane (not a through road), Sanctuary Court, The Rectory and Wiggonholt House cluster near the picturesque medieval parish church; and the ancient Manor of Wiggonholt can be traced back to the year 1305.

Storrington has good local shops and  traders for everyday needs, with a Waitrose store (John Lewis Click & Collect) and Costa in Old Mill Square.  There are other traditional local shops in Pulborough, with and larger Tesco & Sainsbury's stores on the A29.  Storrington also has a Post Office, 4 banks, Library, coffee shops, take-aways & good restaurants.

Brighton, Chichester, Horsham & Guildford have the top High Street shopping names and host theatre productions, plus a variety of cultural events & exhibitions.

Leisure activities include polo & golf at Cowdray Park, golf at the West Sussex; and sailing on the South Coast from Chichester Harbour.  There is gliding at Parham airfield. Horse racing and the renowned motorsport events take place at Goodwood.  Walking, riding & mountain-biking is prevalent in the area.

Field Cottage

One of three 2-storey cottages facing the courtyard, Field Cottage is a charming and surprisingly roomy home; it's 3 bedrooms each with en-suites making it equally suitable as a first or second home. The interior layout is very practical, with good room sizes and as light but cosy air with oil heating.   Another feature is the sunny, enclosed garden enjoying south & west sun.  There are rolling country views from upstairs rooms.

The cottage has a double car barn/carport in the courtyard, plus a third space (the corner bay, currently with a large shed) which could be just right for a classic or cherished car.

At Sanctuary Court you are in the country but not isolated, and is ideal if you have a lock-up-and-leave lifestyle.
