There are wonderful walks to the Downs on the doorstep and within a pleasant walk of just over half a mile, the village centre has good local shops and traders for everyday needs, with a Waitrose store (John Lewis Click & Collect) and Costa in Old Mill Square.

Horse racing and the renowned Festival of Speed & Revival motor sport events take place at Goodwood.

Brighton, Chichester & Horsham, have the top High Street shopping names and host theatre productions, plus a variety of cultural events & exhibitions.

The Gables

Kithurst Park lies on the southern slope of the Downs and takes no through traffic, with a pedestrian-only cut through to Kithurst Lane making a pleasant stroll down to the village centre along School Lane and Church Street. The private estate has wide, grass-verged private roads and contains homes of varying age & design in mature garden surroundings.

The Gables is one of few properties in the road that enjoy a broad view of the Downs, looking south-west across to Kithurst Hill. Probably originating from the 1960's, the property was later enlarged to provide an excellent first floor bedroom and shower room suite. All the "daytime" rooms are positioned to enjoy a view over the gardens with the Downs visible in the distance.

The interior has a lovely light atmosphere, with well-proportioned rooms and an air of luxury. Our clients have had a number of improvements carried out, improving the original layout, with neutral décor & floor coverings, flat plastered ceilings; and the addition of units in the kitchen. A new Worcester gas boiler was re-sited in the loft, with extra insulation to create a warm and comfortable home. The Gables is an ideal family property or downsizing home, set in a glorious garden - don't miss the opportunity to view.
